Although I made 'significant steps' towards making a more up-to-date version of portable Corel, at this time there's several problems that seem to be hard to beat off. The process is not quite the same as in the case of corel 9. It stores almost all settings in the registry.

For portability, you can (barely) get away with an application storing registry entries in HKLM and HKCR (which is actually just an alias for a subkey of HKLM and stores both file associations and COM classes) if you have a 'registry emulator' like the one Steve Lamerton is working on.
