My mother got a digital camera with a free keychain photo viewer for Christmas. The camera works fine, but the viewer can't work without using a program called DPFmate.
I can't get this program to run at all on my (Windows ME) computer. The manual for the viewer says that when you connect it to the USB, the DPFmate conversion software should launch automatically.
When I try to run DPFmate.exe by clicking on it, I get two error messages. The first says:'DPFMATE.exe file is improperly linked with alignment less than 0x1000. Fix the error, and then link it again.' Immediately after I click OK to remove that dialog box, I get another message that says:'Windows cannot run this program because it is in an invalid format.' From searching the forums I know that some people have had problems with this program being recognized as a trojan or virus, but that doesn't happen to me. I just can't get it to run at all. I have no idea what either of those messages means, can anyone help me?
Welcome to the forum. Please post what occurs when you try to copy pictures to the Tao device, and what error messages appear, if any.

There's also a help-page on that product here, which you may or may not already have seen: not sure if im posting the right way but i followed the web site you gave me and when i tried to follow directions a message popped up and it said that DPFMate is offline and program will terminate now! What am I supposed to do? The keychain itself wont let me do anything i cant even delete the pictures that are on it (sample pictures).
